Job Summary

As Application Deployment Product Manager, the candidate will be responsible for leading MathWorks Application Deployment business area.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work closely with development and sales teams to:

• Research and report on the current and potential markets for our tools, and on customer needs and experiences with our products
  
• Develop short-term release plans as well as multi-year product roadmaps
  
• Track and analyze revenue
  
• Support the global sales and application engineering channel with trainings, customer presentation content, user stories, and other selling tools
• Produce product collateral such as data sheets and web-based demonstrations

The primary objectives of the job are to lead The MathWorks efforts to promote our application deployment tools to MATLAB customers and prospects; to support sales in selling our products, and to work with development to ensure successful launches and reception of our products.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering, science, or computer science degree (e.g., EE, ME), MBA a plus
  
• 6+ years industry or academic experience involving software products for engineers and/or scientists
  
• Experience programming in MATLAB and one or more high-level language; the most desirable include: C, C++, Java, .NET
  
• Work experience in a technical role, such as development, application engineering, or technical product support
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  
• Team-leading and project management skills
  
• Previous experience in product management or marketing is a significant plus
