Job Description
As Sr. Product Manager, you will ensure the achievement of strategic revenue objectives for the Authoria Talent Management product line. In this role you will:
- Research market trends and needs and articulate these needs in the form of product requirements.
- Work with development teams sales, marketing communications, and customer and product support to differentiate the product or product family.
- Develop realistic development plans and schedules Create written product specifications and requirements Evaluate and prioritize requests for product changes, enhancements, etc.
- Determine objectives and test plans for any tests involving clients. Participate in the solicitation and selection of test participants.
- Resolve issues and problems that will affect product success.
- Maintain close relationships with customer to remain aware of customer needs and perspectives.
- Participate in the entire life cycle of the product, working closely with development teams from product initiation to delivery to eventual product retirement.
Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a
product support, product planning or consulting environment.
- A bachelor’s
degree in business, sales, engineering or marketing is also required; MBA
desirable.
- Experience with Recruiting and the Talent Management marketplace
also desirable.
- Experience working with an On-demand or Software as a Service
environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
