Job Description

We currently have a wonderful opportunity for a Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager that will be responsible for developing annual marketing strategies and plans to grow active customer base, revenue per customer, loyalty, and increase channel effectiveness.

This position will work with the Senior Management Team to determine the desired new license revenue, geographic mix, channel mix, anticipated sales close rates, desired raw and signed lead numbers, as well as desired customer revenue, lead and take rates, loyalty and retention goals.


The successful candidate will have the following qualities

  • Approves the annual and quarterly plans for new customer acquisition and customer marketing; the creative for each major component; adjustments to the plan
  • Work in collaboration with the Lead Generation, Customer Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Online Marketing teams to ensure successful development and execution of customer acquisition strategy, as well as customer loyalty and retention strategy, by overseeing the following:
    • Desired marketing mix and ROI goals
    • Providing direction on strategic lead generation programs and campaigns (eg. Lead Nurturing; Sweeps)
    • Providing direction on customer marketing programs and campaigns (eg. PURL; Loyalty & Retention)
    • Evaluate all customer acquisition marketing programs & campaigns across multiple criteria including relevant response rates, cost/revenue analysis, qualitative key learning's, and overall results

  • Work closely with training and support department to set strategy and develop customer programs
  • Will work closely with Channel Sales and Channel Marketing to ensure delivery of marketing tools and services to partners for new customer acquisition and customer loyalty and retention
  • Responsible for working closely with Field Marketing and Vertical Marketing to ensure vertical and regional focus and growth
  • Responsible for working with key constituents within the business to determine Research direction
  • Key trade shows, ranked by priority of presence and goal/target of that presence
    • Potential road shows/seminar series
    • Approves List/budget of trade shows; plan for each show


Requirements

Qualified candidates must have 5+ years strong marketing experience, 4+ years working in Technology is highly desirable Must have a Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business administration. MBA highly preferred Must be highly analytical Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong Presentation Skills Excellent time management and organization skills Ability to use general mathematical principles in everyday situations. Ability to interpret market research data.

Ability to manage a budget and keep within budget guidelines.

Prior experience managing cross divisional and/or cross functional work teams as well as experience with managing vendor/agency relationships Ability to judge effective creative execution Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
