In the next few days, we're going to reload my blog posts for the last year into our new blogging software... which means that you'll be getting a few hundred posts from me all at once in your reader. Skim them and delete them... there may be some that you missed. As NBC used to say, "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you."

Our new web site uses Plone for content management (plone.org) which contains an integrated blogging tool. We chose Plone for a number of reasons, mostly around workflow management and its ability to support an active community (comments, multiple authors, etc.). Interesting...yet another open-source CMS I had not heard of. My experience has been with Wordpress (of course), Joomla (which I'm very fond of), and Drupal.
Plone definitely does seem to have the edge on workflow management. Very smart choice!
