Role and Responsibilities for Research Specialist
I want to fill the role of "research specialist" to assist with market research, making outbound calls, doing win/loss interviews, etc. I'm the sole product manager at a small company of 100 folks. Any ideas/suggestions you can give me on a)title, b)defined role/responsibilities?
I always use the Pragmatic Marketing Framework to make my job descriptions but in your case, you may want to make one major adjustment. Look at the Framework and ask "is this defining or executing?" I think your new role, Research Specialist, should look at some of the major boxes on the chart and EXECUTE based on your DIRECTION.
