When to do Win/Loss Interview

How long should you wait till after the deal is done to conduct a win/loss interview?

For deals that have a longer sales cycle (3 plus months), you ought to do the follow-up win/loss interview within a month of the deal being completed. You don't want to pounce on people too soon, but if you wait too long, evaluators have forgotten many of the details and have gone onto other things.

If the cycle is shorter, follow-up within a few days to a week.
